It has always struck me as strange on how the patrons of the casinos are whether online or in person. In the last few months the United States has begun to loosen up its laws and regulations concerning internet gambling. Most of this new regulation is aimed at online poker, but more states are looking to attach online casinos on to their specific bills. Most of the laws that focus on gambling are outdated and antiquated. The Wire Act of 1961 was intended to stop illegal bookmakers and allow Vegas to control all sports bets and gambling. There was no mention of the internet, since it wasn't even invented yet and only applies to phone lines and wire services.
