Hot Dice: One of the hottest non-slots you’ll ever play

I know you come here to play slots. After all, we’re called Slots of Vegas. And believe me, that’s the reason why I came to work here. I’m a diehard slots player. Multi-payline slots with bonus rounds. Those old 3-reel machines with the single payline and the delicious fruit. Pretty much anything.

But what if I told you my favorite game to play has nothing to with slot machines? What if I told you that my go-to game for the last year or so combined dice with scratch lottery tickets?

If you’re looking for something ridiculously fun and addicting, you need to play Hot Dice. And if you’re scared off by the complexity of Craps, don’t be. While Hot Dice involves dice, there’s no strange betting options to worry about.

The goal of the game is to scratch off your dice and reveal a pair that adds up to either 7 or 11. If you land on one, you’ll win the prize shown directly underneath the dice. But here’s where it gets interesting. While scratch tickets usually cost a buck or two and the prize is predetermined, you’re in full control of how much you bet when you play Hot Dice.

Just like a regular slot machine, you can choose your bet amount before you play. This is a pretty big deal because Hot Dice doesn’t pay you out a dollar value. Instead, each par of dice features a prize multiplier directly underneath. So if you land on a 7 and the prize multiplier says 50x, you’d win $250 on the spot, assuming you had bet $5.

Hot Dice doesn’t have an AutoPlay feature. But it does have a Scratch All button. So instead of hitting Play to scratch off the dice one at a time, you can hit Scratch All and watch the dice reveal themselves pretty much instantly.

If you love Hot Dice, chances are you’ll also love Sic Bo. It’s another dice-themed game that takes the fun of Craps and the excitement of slots, mixes it together, and brings you a game that might be your new favorite.

That is, of course, assuming you can find time to step away from Hot Dice to try something new. If you’re anything like me, it’ll be pretty much impossible.
