Pai Gow Poker

East meets West in this popular hybrid of Asian tile games and Western poker. In Pai Gow Poker, a player needs to beat the dealer using two poker hands. While that might sound complicated it isn't. Pai Gow is surprisingly easy to learn and is one of the more popular table games.

Pai Gow Poker uses a regular deck of 52 cards with one additional Joker card. The random number generator (RNG) determines who gets to play first – the dealer or the player. Next all the bets are made and then the dealer and player are given seven cards each which are then split into two hands. One hand has five cards and the other has only two. Your five card hand must be stronger than the two card one. Once the hands are made they are compared and whoever has the winning hands takes it all. If only one hand wins then it is considered a tie.
