Don’t miss these Las Vegas shows

We know Slots of Vegas is fun. And we know it offers the best of Las Vegas casino games, making you feel like you’re right in the heart of Sin City. But one thing we can’t do is offer you exceptional Las Vegas entertainment beyond the tables and slots.

We’re talking, of course, about the legendary Las Vegas shows—the ones people rave about for years to come after leaving Las Vegas. But just because we can’t offer you that kind of entertainment on your Mac, PC, smartphone, or tablet, it doesn’t mean we can’t point you in the right direction of where to find the best shows. Today, we’ve got a list of the can’t-miss Las Vegas shows that should be on your list.

Jersey Boys

You can get amazing New York deli in Las Vegas. You can even enjoy cheesecake imported daily from New York City at Smith & Wollensky’s. So why can’t you enjoy Broadway-style shows? It turns out you can.

Jersey Boys is one show you won’t want to miss if you’re into amazing Broadway performances. The show tells the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. It’s funny, gripping, and amazing to listen to. The musical includes classic hits like Big Girls Don’t Cry, Sherry, and Walk Like a Man.

As soon as the lights dim and the show starts, you’ll think you’re in the middle of New York City enjoying a Broadway show. The show is held at Paris Las Vegas, but if you close your eyes, jump into an Uber, and head to New York New York, you can continue that Big Apple Feeling from Sin City.

Penn & Teller

A comedy show? Or a magic show? Why bother choosing. Head to Penn & Teller at Rio and enjoy one of the best magic shows of all time. But don’t worry. You won’t be scratching your head, asking yourself “How’d they do that?” when the show ends. That’s because Penn & Teller actually explain one of their magic tricks and reveal how they did it. There’s a lot of audience interaction and participation in this show, so be prepared to jump on stage if you’re called upon.

Le Reve

When you think Las Vegas, you think Cirque de Soleil. But not all acrobatic shows are by the famous Quebec company. Le Reve is an acrobatic, aquatic adventure unlike anything you’ve seen before.

The show takes place in a dreamlike environment and is inspired by the famous Pablo Picasso painting. When you leave the show, you’ll wonder if what you just witnessed was in fact a dream or something beyond surreal.

Carrot Top

Carrot Top is generally an acquired taste. Personally, I love his comedy and even enjoyed his critically-panned motion picture Chairman of the Board, in which he plays a surfer dude who inherits a billion-dollar company after helping a millionaire with car trouble at the side of the road.

But not many people find his brand of humor funny. Even if you don’t, fuel up on some alcohol before hitting the Luxor for this show and we guarantee you’ll find it hilarious.

Carrot Top brings to the table his famous trunk of props, but it’s not all about props. He makes fun of celebrities and provides some pretty hilarious social commentary. Some of the comedy is crude, but again, alcohol will help if you’re not a fan.

All Shook Up, Tribute to The King

A trip to Vegas isn’t complete without a photograph with an Elvis Presley impersonator on Las Vegas Boulevard. But you can do better than a photograph. Why not spend an evening with The King?

Head over to V Theater and catch the ultimate Elvis Presley tribute show. Not only does this show feature some of the best Elvis songs you’ll ever hear, but the guy who plays Elvis is as authentic as it gets. This one is well worth the money, particularly if you’re a big fan of Elvis Presley’s music.

Zombie Burlesque

If you’ve seen one burlesque show, you’ve seen them all. Right? Wrong. Step into the Zombie Burlesque experience and enjoy an amazing burlesque show unlike anything you’ve ever seen.

Part frightening, part hilarious, Zombie Burlesque will have you laughing and singing for the remainder of the night. If you’re afraid of zombies, you’ll probably want to stay away from this one. However, the zombies aren’t really that scary, so it might be worth checking out to get over your fear.

The Bellagio Fountains

If you’re looking to save some money but still enjoy something spectacular, head over to The Bellagio. Actually, just the edge of The Bellagio will do just fine. From the sidewalk of Las Vegas Boulevard, you can enjoy the magic of The Bellagio Fountains.

If you’re new to Vegas, they’re quite something. The dancing fountains shoot water into the air to an amazing soundtrack. And the best part? It’s completely free. The show runs every half hour during peak periods, so the next show is never far away. And if you’ve seen it during the day, return at night because the performance looks and feels completely different.

It’s a great way to occupy a few minutes and enjoy some memories without having to open your wallet.
